The good news for those who can afford it is that the car’s price has been reduced from its original £1.5million to £700,000, although delivery won’t begin until mid-2023. The bosses claim that the design and specifications have been improved to give the car a more “mature” look.

The production-ready version of the Valhalla has a 750 horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, paired with twin electric motors, generating a powerful 950 horsepower. This allows the supercar to achieve a top speed of 217mph and accelerate from 0 to 62mph in just 2.5 seconds. According to insiders, the decision to use an eight-cylinder powerplant was made because developing a V6 that complied with strict emissions rules would have been too complex and expensive. Aston Martin’s CEO, Tobia Moers, stated that preserving the essence of the concept car was critical when bringing the supercar into production. Their aim was to create a pure driving machine that offers both exceptional performance and technology while providing drivers with complete connection and control.
As observed from the comparison below, it is evident that the prototype’s front-end and the production car are dissimilar. The customer version of the vehicle will feature Aston Martin’s iconic grille and bigger headlights. Besides, the air intakes on the prototype’s hood have been removed from the production model.

According to Aston Martin, the engine is “the most advanced, responsive and highest performing V8 engine ever fitted to an Aston Martin.”

The Valhalla features an all-new eight-speed dual clutch semi-automatic transmission with gear-change paddles and an electronic powered ‘e-reverse’ that saves weight. The transmission also has an Electronic Limited-Slip Differential on the rear axle for maximum traction and handling agility. The Valhalla reflects Aston Martin’s presence in Formula One and will be tuned by the F1 team to set new standards for performance, dynamics, and driving pleasure, driving the transition from traditional petrol internal combustion to hybrid, and fully electric powertrains.
The final production model of the car used in the James Bond movie is different from the prototype. The lighter V6 engine was replaced with a bigger V8 engine that meets emissions requirements, with the help of Mercedes-AMG. The car’s aerodynamic styling was also redesigned to improve its grip on the road. Finally, the expected sales target for the limited edition of 500 units has been doubled to 1,000 units.

Aston Martin describes the car as blending both function and beauty, with a predominantly carbon fiber body free from unnecessary wings that protrude into the airstream. The roof scoop and side and rear intakes and vents are all expertly integrated into the car’s overall body design, allowing for optimal air intake to the V8 engine.
The fresh supercar has a weight of less than 1,550kg and is constructed with a brand new carbon fibre tub that is both light and sturdy.
According to Aston Martin, their new Valhalla supercar will have a pared-back cockpit design with a clear and simple layout focused on the driver. The car will feature a central touchscreen display that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adjustable pedals and steering column, and a raised footwell for a low seating position similar to a Formula One race car. There are no interior shots of the car available yet because the dashboard area is still being worked on by designers and engineers. The Valhalla will incorporate advanced driver assistance systems, including auto emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and a rearview parking camera. The supercar’s electric motor and V8 petrol engine can run different gears simultaneously to enhance low-speed control and provide reversing capability. The Valhalla aims to lap the Nürburgring circuit in under 6:30 minutes, and Aston expects to sell out of the first 1,000 units made in a similar amount of time.
